The clinic closed form March 23 till April 2 and will re-open April 6, 2020 due to the coronavirus/covid 19 pandemic.
Per Federal Guidelines, as a medical office, we are staying open to service our patients’ needs, while prioritizing excellent dermatologic care, and safety of patients.
Specifically:
1. Excellent and service-oriented staff team members are masked and gloved when caring for patients. All patients coming to the clinic (and approved companions) will also be given a mask.
2. Patient appointments as well as the waiting room seating have been extended to accommodate the social distancing rule. Please note that no companions are allowed into the office, however one companion is allowed if accompanying a minor and elderly patient in your care.
3. The office is kept to a limit of less than 10 people per federal recommendations.
4. We reconfigured the schedule and extended individual patient appointments to avoid any patient interaction. Your triage, evaluations/management and check out is completed in your private, sanitized exam room. You only stop by the front desk to check in and for your follow up appointments
The federal government has approved telemedicine services for established patients which are equivalent to an office visit. They are called “virtual check-ins” or “e-visits” to avoid trips to the clinic. At this time, all established patients are encouraged to use the telemedicine platform, which is video conferencing that can be done using your cell phone or home computer. Please make sure your are in a private area at the time of your video conference to protect your health information. Please call and a staff member will set up your virtual appointment. In-clinic visits will only be available for new patients, patients undergoing procedures, and follow ups that are unable to use the video conferencing platform.
